THE LAGOON:

Located next to Bobbie’s Beach Club the lagoon is also a fun and exciting place to swim, practice/learn how to scuba dive, or free dive. The lagoon is a highlight addition to the Golden Rock Resort. This amazing addition was created for the enjoyment of guests and is not the Caribbean’s largest man made, ocean fed lagoon boasting a depth up to 10m and an underwater attraction. It's the perfect place to get your feet wet and explore the underwater world. Beneath the water of the lagoon, divers and snorkelers alike can explore a submerged school bus which is quickly becoming a flourishing artificial reef.

THE DIVING:

Located next to Bobbie’s Beach Club within the resort, home to the largest, man-made, ocean-fed, cliff edge lagoon in the Caribbean. The lagoon hides an American School Bus at 9 m/30 ft deep creating an unforgettable experience right at the resort.

The pristine waters around Sint Eustatius, offer a variety of 36 different dive sites in the Marine Park, (The marine park being bigger than the island itself!). The dive sites are all located within 3-miles of the harbor and have been termed "Best Caribbean Diving Destination" by National Geographic in 2022.

The included dives are guided by Golden Rocks experienced dive team. While on this New England Dive Travel Adventure, divers will enjoy valet guided dives that fit their comfort and experience level. The diving is diverse and offers several unique habitats from shallow reefs to deeper walls. Wrecks, archeological sites, and lava flows all make for an interesting underwater topography. All dive sites are covered in coral, sponges and abundance of all our favorite Caribbean creatures, big and small.

Not Nitrox Certified? This course is a wonderful addition to your SCUBA certification programs. 

Get certified with New England Dive before you travel or complete your E-Learning and finish the course on your trip with one of New England Dives very own instructors. 

New England Dive offers 2 agencies for training PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty or SDI Computer Nitrox Specialty.  Both are recognized worldwide and are fully equipped to teach you the physiology to become a Nitrox diver.

3. Schedule the in-person practical learning session with the instruction team here at New England Dive. 

*Our schedule not fit with yours? Live in another state but are signing up for the trip? Don't fret, we can schedule a special zoom meeting with you and an instructor to complete most of the learning prior to travel, then complete the final skills in site during your trip! *
