A sternum strap increases stability to your BCD/cylinder system or harness by help preventing shifting of the BCD/cylinders when swimming on your side or turning on a dive. It also keeps the shoulder harness close to your center of gravity which also increases BCD/harness comfort. The Highland by XS Scuba Sternum Strap is a heavy-duty technical strap assembly built from 1.5" (3.8 cm) webbing with a length of 11" (28 cm). Strap comes with 2" x 4" (5.1 cm x 10.2 cm) stainless steel sliders for extreme durability. Strap has an adjustable squeeze-style side-release buckle on one side. 4 stainless steel rivets hold everything together. Simple vertical adjustment by sliding up and down makes this one great strap assembly.
